Saudi Arabia recorded a landmark year for tourism in 2025, welcoming more than 122 million domestic and inbound visitors, according to preliminary figures. Sharing the update on X, His Excellency Ahmed Al Khateeb, Minister of Tourism, Saudi Arabia extended his gratitude to the Kingdom’s leadership for their continued support of the sector — support that has driven another year of record performance and sustained growth. The figures, unveiled at #WEF26, also revealed over SAR 300 billion in total tourism spending during the year. “Saudi tourism is no longer an emerging story,” Al Khateeb said. “It is a growth engine, building investor confidence, shaping global demand, and unlocking long-term opportunity at scale.” The Saudi Tourism Authority echoed this positive momentum, describing the growth as unprecedented and noting that the 122 million visitor milestone brings the Kingdom significantly closer to its Vision 2030 target of 150 million visitors annually. The results further reinforce Saudi Arabia’s position as one of the world’s fastest-growing tourism markets, supported by major destination developments, enhanced connectivity, and strong investor confidence.
