How important are travel agents and wedding planners in generating business for you?
They are absolutely essential. Destination weddings involve many moving parts — travel logistics, accommodation blocks, event planning, and guest coordination. Most couples prefer to work with professionals who can manage the process smoothly, and this is where travel advisors and wedding planners play a vital role. Travel advisors typically manage the group travel component, arranging flights, transfers, and accommodation for guests arriving from different countries. Their expertise ensures that large wedding groups arrive seamlessly and that the overall experience is well coordinated. Wedding planners, on the other hand, focus on the design and execution of the event. They understand how to transform the venue, coordinate décor and entertainment suppliers, and create a detailed programme of celebrations that often spans several days.
What makes the property appealing for wedding planners specifically?
The retreat offers planners a highly flexible canvas. Because of the boutique scale, they can personalise every detail — from beachfront ceremonies and sunset receptions to wellness activities for guests during the stay. Another advantage is the ability to offer full-property buyouts. Many planners prefer venues where their clients can have exclusive use of the entire space. This allows them to bring in customised décor, entertainment, and cultural elements without limitations. For planners working with international clients — particularly from India or Europe — this exclusivity is a major selling point. It enables them to design celebrations that feel private,
immersive, and unique.
Which markets are wedding planners and travel advisors bringing to the property?
We are witnessing a diverse mix. The Indian market is particularly strong for destination weddings, as multi-day celebrations are a key part of their culture. Russian travellers also show strong interest in private celebrations and extended leisure stays.
