The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai and Dubai Health Authority signed a strategic memorandum of understanding aimed at developing an integrated health journey for those coming to the Emirate for treatment and recovery, by enhancing integration between residency and visa services and healthcare services. The memorandum focuses on facilitating the issuance of medical treatment visas, and developing a seamless experience that begins before the patient arrives in Dubai and extends until the completion of treatment and subsequent follow-up. It also includes areas of cooperation such as enhancing electronic integration, supporting integration with the health insurance system, and launching future initiatives such as the smart medical treatment visa and proactive patient services.
