Kuwait Airways continues to expand its operational network via King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and has announced the resumption of its scheduled flights to Amman starting 5 April 2026, after transporting passengers by land through the Nuwaiseeb border crossing. This is part of a series of destinations recently launched by the company via Dammam, including London, Cairo, Istanbul, and Lahore, reflecting its commitment to providing multiple and flexible travel options for its passengers considering the current circumstances. The expansion also addresses the increasing demand for this destination in the domestic market, particularly to facilitate travel for students to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Kuwait Airways Acting Chief Executive Officer, Captain Abdulwahab Ibrahim Al-Shatti stated that Kuwait Airways continues to expand travel options for its customers by adding new destinations to its flight network, including Amman, in addition to London, Cairo, Istanbul, and Lahore, reflecting the company’s commitment to meeting the needs of travelers.
Al-Shatti added that the company adopts a flexible approach to keep pace with operational changes, while ensuring the readiness of services provided to passengers. He emphasized that Kuwait Airways continues to implement effective operational solutions to ensure smooth travel flow despite existing challenges.
Al-Shatti stated that Kuwait Airways continues to execute its operational plans efficiently to ensure the smooth flow of travel. He noted that the company has recently prepared all available resources and mechanisms to process travel requests and provide flights to specific destinations. Additionally, he highlighted that the company provides service for submitting visa applications for residents traveling to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, provided they have made prior reservations on Kuwait Airways flights.
Al-Shatti explained that Kuwait Airways provides limousine service to Royal and Business Class passengers to and from Al-Khairan Mall only, and it is also available to Economy Class passengers at specified rates, in accordance with the service’s terms and conditions.
He explained that Kuwait Airways in cooperation with Al Khiran Mall will offer exclusive offers to travelers on a selection of brands at the mall, providing them the opportunity to shop at special prices before departure.
Al-Shatti concluded by stating that the company is continuously working with relevant authorities inside and outside the State of Kuwait to implement the best operational solutions, emphasizing that the safety and security of passengers and crew remain the top priority for the national carrier.
