Major sporting events continue to create opportunities for hotels to drive footfall, dining revenue, and guest engagement. Ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026, Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Deira Creek has unveiled a series of football-themed experiences, positioning its longstanding venue, The Pub English Bar, as a dedicated destination for tournament viewing.

Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Deira Creek will transform The Pub English Bar into a dedicated FIFA World Cup 2026 viewing venue from 11 June to 19 July, offering football fans a programme of live screenings, themed promotions, and interactive experiences throughout the tournament.

Located within one of Dubai’s longest-standing hospitality landmarks, The Pub English Bar will broadcast every televised match live, combining the atmosphere of a traditional British pub with football-focused activations designed to attract residents and visitors during the championship.

Operating daily from noon until 3 am, the venue will introduce a range of tournament experiences, including “Call the Score”, a match prediction competition where guests can forecast final results before kick-off for the chance to win complimentary beverage buckets. During the “Half-Time Rush”, guests will be offered selected two-for-one beverage promotions throughout the 15-minute half-time period.

Football takes centre stage

The hotel has also developed dedicated beverage packages, themed promotions, and sports-inspired menus to complement the viewing experience. Guests can access the tournament activations with a minimum spend of AED 75.

The initiative forms part of the property’s broader strategy to strengthen its food and beverage and entertainment offering while leveraging one of the world’s most-watched sporting events to attract customers.

Weekend roast and catering offer added

Alongside its FIFA programming, The Pub launched its Weekend Roast experience on 31 May, available every Saturday and Sunday from 12 pm to 11 pm. The menu features traditional British roast options, including chicken, lamb, and rib-eye steak, with beverage add-ons available.

The hotel has also introduced a FIFA World Cup-themed catering service aimed at private gatherings, corporate events, and home-viewing occasions across Dubai. The offering includes customised menus, live cooking stations, themed beverages, and international cuisine inspired by participating nations.

Located on the banks of Dubai Creek, Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Deira Creek remains one of the emirate’s heritage hospitality properties. The latest initiatives reflect the hotel’s continued focus on combining dining, entertainment, and sporting experiences to engage both local residents and international visitors while maintaining its long-established position within Dubai’s hospitality landscape.
