The event marked the official launch of the SMR Guild, which aims to create opportunities for hospitality professionals to exchange ideas, strengthen industry connections, and share best practices.
The gathering featured keynote sessions from senior hospitality leaders, including Shaileen Jiwa, General Manager, Queen Elizabeth 2 Hotel; Amro Nagah, General Manager, Swissôtel Al Murooj Dubai; and Julia Schamne, Cluster General Manager, Novotel Dubai Al Barsha and Aparthotel Adagio Premium Dubai Al Barsha.
The speakers shared perspectives on leadership, commercial strategy, and the evolving role of sales, marketing, and revenue management in the hospitality industry.
The event also provided a platform for professionals from across the UAE hospitality sector to expand their networks and exchange operational and commercial insights with peers.
According to the organisers, the inaugural gathering is the first of a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening collaboration within the hospitality community and supporting continuous professional development.
