Warner Bros. Discovery has announced a new lineup of programming for June across its lifestyle and entertainment platforms, including HGTV, Discovery, discovery+, and Fatafeat. The content slate features travel-focused series, reality programmes, cooking competitions, and special anniversary content designed to engage audiences across the region.
The June schedule highlights a growing focus on experiential travel, culinary storytelling, and lifestyle entertainment, reflecting evolving viewer preferences for immersive and relatable content.
 Travel-inspired entertainment takes centre stage
Leading the lineup is Wild Vacation Rentals, a new HGTV series featuring actresses and comedians Sherry Cola and D’Arcy Carden. The eight-episode series follows the duo as they explore unconventional holiday rentals across the United States, including caves, bird nests, missile silos, and restored western towns.
In each episode, the hosts visit three distinctive properties before selecting a standout destination, while uncovering the stories behind the accommodations and sharing their experiences with viewers.
The programme will premiere on 10 June and is expected to appeal to audiences interested in unique travel experiences and alternative accommodation trends.
Discovery spotlights mining rescue mission
On Discovery, Gold Rush: Mine Rescue with Freddy and Juan returns with gold mining experts Freddy Dodge and Juan Ibarra helping struggling mining operators improve productivity and rescue their businesses.
The latest season follows their efforts to support Jeff, a former soldier who invested his savings in a mining venture that is facing financial challenges due to rising costs and declining returns. The series explores the realities of small-scale mining operations and the expertise required to sustain them.
Culinary content drives engagement
Discovery+ will launch 100 Cooks, described as the largest home-cook competition in the network’s history. Hosted by Terry Crews and judged by culinary creator Nick DiGiovanni alongside chef Alex Guarnaschelli, the competition brings together 100 amateur cooks competing for a US$ 250,000 grand prize.
The series features a range of challenges, including baking competitions, noodle-based contests, and food-themed trivia rounds, celebrating culinary creativity and home-grown talent.
Fatafeat marks milestone year
As part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, Fatafeat continues its special podcast series featuring conversations with some of the channel’s most recognised culinary personalities.
Hosted by Darine, the series features chefs including Chef Orfali, Chef Hourya, Chef Tareq, Chef Daad, and Chef Wafeeq, who reflect on their journeys, professional milestones, and experiences with the channel over the years.
The June programming slate underscores Warner Bros. Discovery’s continued investment in lifestyle and culinary content, while offering Middle East audiences a broad mix of entertainment across multiple platforms and viewing preferences.
